My name is Don, and I started in the automotive field in 1977—from sweeping floors to becoming an owner. I retired a few years ago and needed something to do. Being from the automotive field, I thought this would be a good fit. My brother deals with collector cars from the late 60’s and early 70’s, so I started restoring pumps from the early 70’s to the late 90’s. The manufacturers haven’t produced these parts in decades, so at times they are very hard to find. We completely tear down the old pump, media blast all hard parts, and repaint them in factory colors. The bearings are replaced, and a few modifications are made to quiet the pump down.
